What is a domain name control panel?

The domain control panel is a web interface that allows a domain registration holder to manage his/her registered domain. You can keep track of all the domains you own, can check their status, renewals & all domain management.

Orcus Technology Domain Control features:

Domain Details: A complete Domain Information including Date of Registration, Payment Method, First Payment Amount, Recurring Amount, Next Due Date, Registration Period, and Status is displayed.

Auto-Renewal Status: This feature allows you to set the required domain on Auto Renew mode which will enable the system to create a renewal invoice. The invoice would be sent before 30-days of the domain due to date hence you can make the payment and can secure the domains before expiry.

Nameservers: Nameservers are how you point your domain name to your hosting service. It allows you to tell the internet where your website is hosted.

Registrar Lock: Registrar Lock is a safety feature that prevents unauthorized domain transfers. By default, this feature is enabled for all your domains.

ID Protection / Whois Protection: Protect your personal information and reduce the amount of spam to your inbox by enabling ID Protection.

Email Forwarding: Get emails forwarded to alternate email addresses of your choice so that you can monitor all from a single account.

Contact Information: This area will edit details for the registrant, contact, admin, and tech contacts for the domain. All this information must be accurate for domains to not only be registered but remain current under ICANN regulations.

Private Nameservers: Private nameservers are your own DNS nameservers. They use your domain – such as ns1.yourdomainname.com and ns2.yourdomainname.com – instead of the name of your web hosting company. The most common situation where private nameservers are used is by resellers who are trying to establish their own brand.

DNS Management: DNS management is a service, which allows domain owners to manage their DNS records. Such as Manage A Records, Manage AAAA Records, Manage CNAME Records, Manage MX Records, Manage NS Records, Manage TXT Records, Manage SRV Records, Manage SOA Records.

Manage Domain Forwarding: This allows you to forward your domain visitors to any URL of your choice (to a new domain or a different website).

Accessing your Domain’s EPP code: A domain authorization code (also referred to as an Auth Code or an EPP Code) provides an extra level of security for the domain name registration.

Actions Tools:-

Renew Domain: You can renew the domain name in advance; the system will create an invoice for you.

Transfer Domain: This option allows you to place a domain transfer request.
